EXECUTIVE TEAM
KAY CRITES, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Crites has been a resident of Midland for more than 40 years and has been involved with area nonprofit organizations for more than 20 years. Prior to accepting the position of executive director at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Permian Basin, Crites worked as the marketing and development officer for the Ellen Noël Art Museum in Odessa and as director of publications and public relations for the Commemorative Air Force. She has served on the board of directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals and on the marketing committee for Bynum School.
“We are so proud to have someone with Kay’s in-depth knowledge and abilities in the nonprofit arena,” said Big Brothers Big Sisters Board Member Irene Garcia. “Her qualifications will guide our organization to new levels of success as we serve the children of the Permian Basin. Kay’s familiarity with our community will add value to what has been already accomplished and is currently in motion. Undoubtedly, we will see a fresh approach to the delivery of service from Big Brothers Big Sisters.”
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead such an outstanding organization,” Crites said. “Big Brothers Big Sisters, through its program of one-on-one mentoring for children, has such a positive impact on our children and on our community.”
